Monetizing your apps and sites using our SDK is quick and easy.
The steps below are intended to be used by software developers with in-depth knowledge of their Android or iOS applications. Detailed SDK developer documentation links are provided for more detail. Within each step select the operating system appropriate for your app or site.
Step 1: Integrate the SDK

Step 2: Integrate Ads
Verizon Media supports the following types of ads:
- Inline - commonly referred to as banners or rectangles, inline ad units appear with other app content. Inline ads are often found at the top or bottom of a screen while a user is reading articles and searching through content. We recommend using inline ads on both smartphones and tablets in cases where the user is reading and/or interacting with content on the same screen for a period of time.
- Interstitial - full-screen ads that display over an app’s content and often result in higher eCPM. The best time to use interstitial ads is during a natural break in the application’s content, such as after completing a level in a game. Interstitial ad placements have an option to display interactive video ads that often produce the highest eCPM.
- Native - different from standard ad units, native ads are a collection of unique components that can be laid out and interacted with individually.
NOTE: If your application uses Location on iOS Services and a user has granted permission to use their current location, the Verizon Ads SDK will automatically send location data with ad requests. The SDK will not present a location permission dialog on its own. To explicitly disable sending location data with ad requests set the following in the application: [[MMSDK sharedInstance] setSendLocationIfAvailable:NO]
