SSP Terminology Changes

In Spring 2021, Verizon Media SSP is updating its UI terminology to more closely match industry standards. Below are the new terms that will be used throughout the SSP.

What changed

  • The SSP UI KPIs, graphs, form fields, tables headers, page titles, and navigation will reflect the new naming conventions
  • SSP schedules and UI reports will display new column names
  • Any revenue metrics that also include Mediation Partner data will be displayed as “Metric Name (includes Mediation Partners)“. All performance metrics include Mediation Partners traffic. The Mediation Partner revenue and performance metrics include Clementine and Gemini traffic.
  • Removed the words “RTB Only” removed from the existing metrics
  • The SSP UI KPIs, graphs, form fields, tables headers, page titles, and navigation will reflect the new naming conventions

What hasn’t changed

  • The SSP reporting API field alias names remain the same
  • Naming conventions in SDK, API, S2S, and C2S integrations remain the same
